Thank goodness for that! (not that I don't care for his health...)

Oh, ofcourse. I mean I love his album but I'm more interested in seeing him make an absolute tit of himself.

I would actually love another Nicky album. I'm not a Nicky fan at all, but IKTZ was awesome. And a drunk tour would be perfect. Wouldn't be fussed too much about JDB, TGW was good, but wasn't the type of thing to get excited about.
I want Sean to realease a series of strange concept albums under a pseudondym and appear on stage behind a screen. |

TGW > IKTZ
*runs away!*

I want an album, a cookery show, a book, a guitar lesson DVD just for starters!

Nah. James' was okay, don't get me wrong, I don't hate it. But it was a bit bland and nothing special. A bit like a bunch of good b-sides.

We shall have to agree to disagree on that one, Soph!

He didn't even bother playing much of it live by the time I saw him...half the set was manics songs

Yeah, I was very happy about that, seeing him was the first time I'd seen a manic live

I went to Stoke and he played a fair bit of TGW! Typical Manic silliness not to play more of it and it's b-sides of course!

maybe he'd have sold a few more copies if he actually, you know, played the songs to people more.

I'd love another JDB album. The Great Western has it's own special place in my heart and reminds me of good times.
I've never listened to IKTZ, simply because I can't stand Nicky's voice. I bought it just to add it to my collection (and it was ultracheap). |

I'm pretty sure I remember Nicky actually saying in an interview that he was more likely to bring out more solo stuff than James. Wouldn't be wild about hearing more from either of them solo, but TGW is definitely a cut above IKTZ IMO.
