I have not received my vinyl and magazine either. Any tips on what I should do to either get it or reclaim money?

Just realised this thread has over 50 pages so hope you forgive me for asking the question which obviously has been asked before.

not sure what the "maximum days" period is in the UK / Europe (here it's something like 30 days) but your best option is to contact your bank and have it listed as a disputed transaction - they have charged you for a service that you have not received.

Apparently they can't refund the money to my account, because my card has expired (because they took so fucking long to get back to me, I hasten to add...I originally asked for a refund whilst my card was still valid), so I'm now being offered a cheque instead. I may be an old, dying lady by the time I get this damn money back, but I'm bloody well not giving up

My mum's just text me to say my refund cheque has arrived. FINALLY!!! Although I won't be completely relaxed until I've paid the cheque in and the money is back in my account What a palava!

If anyone else is still having issues, I've got the e-mail address of someone who seems a bit more on the ball than the advisors on the phone (she took a while to get back to me, but was actually helpful in the end). I won't put it on here, but if anyone needs it, PM me.

I paid my cheque in today and just checked my online banking; the money is back in my account, hurrah It's only taken 2 months like, but still, I can relax now and know never, ever to use them for anything again.

I was hoping the National Treasures LP was going to be the first piece of vinyl to grace my new Sony USB turntable which I received today for my xxth birthday. Instead the honour went to the pink vinyl version of 'Life Becoming A Landslide'. Any day now...

Part of me wants to see this thread continue on into 2012 for the pure ridiculousness of it. Well, that and so everyone who had problems is finally satisfied (or at least recompensed).

as ridiculous as it is, i cannot but help feel a little bit of guilt when i read of someone who got a hard time with this since i started the thread.

hopefully everyone who wanted it has now got it. if you have or haven't and have not commented here, please do not do so for 10 days to let Porco reach for a dream.

Allow me to join the club by saying that although I didn't really want the vinyl (don't own a turntable) and didn't bother to order it online, I kinda got into collector mode after seeing some pix posted on FB by Manic Street Mania!
Accidentally, the ever so lovely and kind StandAndStare was in London around the time the issue came out and she managed to get me a copy, which I collected when we met again for the gig - didn't trust the Italian post for a second!

I've been reading this thread often and felt really sorry for everyone - I was curious to see how it got sorted out. I do hope everyone got either the vinyl or their money back (or both!!)

This is insane. How come they're sending out free copies faster than those we had paid for?
