Being new, I'm curious, and it's hard to decipher tone over the internet, but is DK usually serious with his/her posts or just being humourous?

this is the best thread ever ( barring JDB Blackstar), has given me some good laughs. i managed to legally download WMTTB from google play this morning. but yeah...confusion reg album and single even with the explanation this morning, seems to be the watchword for this album.

If the video features Popcorn it will be a magic moment.

Quite a nice person though at times. It depends on wether or not she is fed after midnight.

You can't blame manics fans for wanting/sharing new music, not can you blame the band. Almighty cock up.
If there's a copyright issue too then it's just ridiculous though haha |

Especially when the track wasn't leaked or illegallly made available, it was available for purchase on official sites..

At least they've bothered to address it now though. Yeah it's confusing and not the start to the Futurology era we'd all have liked but I don't think it'll affect anything in the long run. Most people who haven't been reading this thread probably aren't even aware of exactly what's been going on anyway. We're already all laughing about it so can't be that bad |

Sony and the PR company are almost definitely aware of comments here and on the internet, it's actually the only way they would have been alerted to the leak. As I said on your fb, it takes time to respond to unexpected issues and the PR company are unlikely to have had an 'oops, there's a leak in Australia' press release to hand. From what I know about the PR company, they seem to be real fans of the Manics and are really enthused about the upcoming album. Quote:

I just find the whole situation hilarious to be honest.

It probably actually created far more interest in the single/album than would have existed online before. Course they could have achieved that with, i don't know, an advert?
