Where's the best place for ordering a Japanese import copy these days? Thanks in advance.

Update from HMV. Possible delay to their ‘dark’ edition or to the album as a whole

We’ve just been advised by the manufacturers that the release date for the above item has changed to 10/09/2021 and your order will therefore be processed and dispatched nearer to this date.

There might be the answer to the question of how big Iron Maiden are nowadays. Trying to avoid a big gun as if Adele hasn’t got an album coming out at some point this year? They delayed Lifeblood for similar reasons. Look how that turned out.

No. 1 isn’t going to happen, Nicky. It never happens.

It might happen, depending on how many people here think listening to the album on Spotify is keeping the band going

Interesting. Not heard anything about a delayed date to the album, but we'll see. Might just be that HMV vinyl I would assume. I'll play the album on Spotify lots as well as the CD

Oh. So much for getting it before the Halifax gig and learning some new songs then Guess depending what else is out on the 10th they COULD get a number 1 album again? haha, hope they do as they always seem to miss out sadly.

Steps have a new album out on the 10th. Unlike Sony, I checked and their last album sold over 70,000 copies and the one before that over 100,000, so it’s still not happening. They’ve chosen to be beaten by Steps over being thrashed by Iron Maiden.

And this is if a bigger fish doesn’t come along. The biggest acts can drop their albums on a whim.

Hmmm delaying release dates isn't normally a good idea is it? ... doubt people will cancel their pre-orders tho in a huff

The official Twitter account just tweeted that it’s down to a production issue.

Sure, sure. Paul McCartney encountered the same production issue a couple of weeks before release when Taylor Swift surprise announced her last album.

There definitely are vinyl productions issues going on. I went to pre-order Dot Allison's new album which is due out this Friday, and the delivery date for the vinyl was 1st of October. I asked her about it on Twitter and she asked her label, and the delay is due to these vinyl production issues. I am pretty sure Dot is not trying to avoid a clash with any other artists!

Aah fair enough. Would've been silly for it to have been cos they're crying over not getting to number 1

Yeah there's been a lot of complaints from Indies about RSD blocking production for normal releases. Also there aren't a lot of factories around pressing vinyl so queues are long

It’s not like they don’t have previous for this as recent as the last album. Resistance is Futile was originally scheduled to release on April 6 until Kylie popped up on the same date.

It didn’t work then either.
