and thus there's a follow up "rant" from me as to why they might have gone and changed the wording on the advert / product description.
they have removed "38 tracks across 38 CDs", they most certainly have not said exactly how many tracks there are.

Does anyone know how many tracks we are actually getting???

it would be huge optimism, even for you dear Gutless, to expect anything other than 38 tracks on 38 CDs. i mean, why bother to remove that detail but not replace it with a different number or more accurate description?

excellent work Punk Skins, hope that was c & p and not you typing though.
if they are to do a "complete" singles box set and this is, as i believe Mr Melodamatic said "the end of a chapter", then this is exactly what it should look like. should it look like this, i will be off to the relevant site, giving them my card details and suggesting that they "take as much as they like".

They'll probably release a new b-sides compilation next year instead 'due to overwhelming fan demand'.

the dvd should have all their TOTP peformances on it. I'd love those

Yeah, like that one that PSB had on their recent 'Best Of'. A pointless release, but the dvd made it totally worth a purchase. I'd always assumed there would be licensing issues with getting the TOTP stuff, but the fact Pet Shop Boys managed it makes you think it must be possible.

Some TOTP stuff went on the Holy Bible DVD!

You're not seriously telling me that the box set is 38 tracks over 38 CDs...

Putting the collection on 3 or 4 CDs makes the box a lot smaller.
