Before Nicky goes on stage he has to count all the fingers and toes of fellow band and crew members. Not until that is done, does Mr Wire feel comfortable putting on his Urban Decay make-up.

Sean once used all his earnings from the Manics to release his own brand of exploding pantyliners. They were not a great success.

In 1993, Richey was a member of a Proclaimers tribute band. Unfortunately he often forgot to remove his stage outfit when performing with the Manics, leading to his GATS glasses-wearing persona.

The reason Sean doesn't do many interviews is that every move he makes he has to have at least 3 back up moves and plans to confuse and foil his nemesis the alto saxophone, which he often sees hovering around the edges of wall played by an unseen person.
You try having that on your conscience and having the pressure of giving interviews as well?
