Postcards is about positivity mainly, with just the right amount of melancholy!

The strings were fine with me and the ideas were what I was after for a 10th album. Having some fun for a change and not being quite so serious!

I'm all for exchanging opinions on a forum cause that is what these places are all about but I swear I'm living some sort of FD Groundhog's Day as I see these exact same things looping every five pages.

The manics part of the forum can be very repetitive. I usually stay away from it when the band are inactive. All the same, I never take it seriously. Not anymore.

i'm actually fed up of waiting for confirmation in regards of the 'deluxe' version of National Treasures is the biggest rip off in the history of the band or one of the most awesome sets ever, so i've sent a message asking for the listing, which they assure me they will get back to me about in 24 hours.

if they can't confirm the tracklisting some 6 months before it ships i'll take that as it is 1 track per disc, then. please consider bombarding them with the same message.

meanwhile, Sony are truly fucking ashamed of having the Manics on their label, are they not. going to the Sony myplay homepage and selecting all artists reveals no link and no mention of the band, and there is no search option either. classic fucking "fuck the customers" Sony approach.

There are other messages I'd quite like to bombard them with, such as since when did it cost less for them to export this thing oversees?

£165 = €160.00
