personally, tomorrow marks 3 business days, and as their is no sign of it landing today i am pretty much resigned to missing out - if they are to issue a replacement and post it the same comical way i do not see the point. i guess refund and order the 2CD, 1DVD set from a proper company.

i post this, however, for those of you who want to go for the super deluxe 3CD, 1 DVD set. if they can offer a replacement on a sold out, limited edition set then obviously they are pressing or re-pressing if you will. please don't go paying stupid e-bay prices; just check in on that site and see when they become available to buy again.

I'm really sorry for you! Mind you, I live in the UK and the imbeciles at MyPlay managed to lose my boxset as well. What kind of company sends an item like that untracked und using two delivers from one location in the UK to another? (TNT to Royal Mail, honestly...) And then they expected me to contact TNT to try and track down an untracked item. They (TNT) have never received anything in my name. I've informed MyPlay of this yesterday evening and am awaiting their reply (not holding my breath, obviously). They'd better HAVE a replacement for me!

Truly sorry to read this. Sure you don't want to try for a replacement? Statistically speaking, it shouldn't get lost again!

And there is still a chance that the original order will show up, very late...!

i will put it to them that if they are prepared to send it either via courier or means that involve tracking then fine, otherwise a refund. i am not going to spend yet more time searching for a parcel, sadly. a pisser, truly, but i am not exactly the completist. it was just a really, really good deal and so i thought why not have it.

Sorry to hear that.My box arrived yesterday and I live in Italy so it took two weeks to cover only about 1000 km.Then I think there may be still hope that you will receive yours.

It seems like waiting for your luggage on the carousel at the airport, and the number of people waiting gets smaller and smaller.

The only suggestion for you I have (being a lawyer) is to claim for both a substitution copy and damages and, if they cannot offer you a substitution copy (but see also below) then ask for refund and higher damages.
Needless to say, you have to provide them with documentation of your order (the order number should be enough as they wrote you already).

Furthermore, customers who paid by Paypal should have a better protection in terms of refund (unless the 45 days guarantee refers to the order day as a starting date).

Besides: everybody is reasoning in terms of the "full pack", but Sony should be able to custom made for you a CDr promo of the third CD anytime (in addition to a free copy of the Legacy edition).

A sentiment well said! My package has still not arrived in the US either .. What I find (and agree with you) MOST frustrating is the response that myplay gave which was "ask at the post office under your name and addres" ... there HAS to be something in their system - a log number, a tracking of somekind which shows and logs they physically handed it out for shipping. I just emailed myplay again and also took a previous post's advice of contacting (in my case) 'spring global' directly ....

I am really disappointed by this process ...

Here's hoping those orders still "outstanding" appear!

Stegmastino, i have the double whammy of being in legal and involved with c/cards, so i am pretty much covered in a worst case. thanks for the tips, though!

i have had no reply at all from "Spring Global" and am not expecting one.

i'm presently spending an hour plus a day on the phone with the people at the Post Office here who are kind enough to effectively search for a needle in a haystack - looking for an international item with no tracking details and nothing but my name. the conclusion is that it hasn't even arrived in this country yet, so it's "missing".

a bit of a bummer that i will, barring some miracle tomorrow, miss out on this set, but hey ho, my declining a replacement copy for them to lose means that one of you should then, in theory, be able to order a copy off MyPlay. good luck with that!

That bit sounds like my case again, MyPlay claim the item left their warehouse on 01/11/12, but according to TNT they have never received it. Yours may well have disappeared before even being handed over to any carrier, too - Bog knows what it looks like at MyPlay! Oh, and of course, no reply yet regarding a replacement.

"Odd" doesn't even start to cover it, how about "unprofessional" or "shambolic"? And by all means, kick up a fuss if it doesn't turn up! Sympathies to all who are in this with me.
