Well it was cheaper than the GATS box. And that National Treasures shoebox.
Does anyone know what the most expensive item ever advertised on their website was?
I'm sticking with my guess of the National Treasures shoebox.

I don't mind the selling price, it's when they add on extortionate postage on top that I cancel my order.

That or the £80 GT box, that was a bit rich in 2012. Normal tat price now with inflation

Oh or the super duper singles box with crumpled corners and wonky scanned cover art

Yeah agree with this.

Originally ordered the 3 CD book and it came in at £33 with postage. Contacted Kontraband to cancel it as I thought for an extra £17-20 I would get the signed version with the t-shirt as it’s £50.

Assumed the postage at that price would’ve been free or at least the same price so I went through the order, popped my PayPal details in and then at the end they sting you for £10 postage and that was the cheapest one - I think something like DPD next day was £14! Can’t be arsed to cancel again and I do really like the t-shirt. Thieving bastards though.

It costs well over a fiver now to send an LP by Royal Mail signed for, so adding in the 3 CD book set (for example) & a tracked courier service, I can see why Kon-traband might think £10 postage is justified. I’d be happy to pay that if they just took more care packaging the items. They need to put in some actual packing material protection, rather than just shoving the items in a record mailer & hoping for the best.

Oh shit. I chose standard mail. It'll happen. It'll happen. The idea of it getting lost in the post is... A possibility I've only just considered due to your post! Nah, I've more faith in Royal Mail than certain other things with "Royal" in the title.

https://news.sky.com/story/royal-mai...-rise-12669254
We might get our packages a bit later due to the backlog. But they'll be coming. We'll even have emails saying they've been sent. Don't panic.

Ridiculously excited for this. When does it come out exactly? (People here talking like it's already in the mail...) And does anyone know if there's a lossless digital only way to buy it? (Hopefully 7 digital will have it, often has their stuff...)

9th September - one of the days of the proposed postal strikes it seems (8th and 9th September).

I ordered mine from a local-ish record shop as they normally ship preorders so that they arrive a day early, but I guess my tactical planning has been in vain.

Well... It'll be sometime in early September. It's going to be worth it.
To quote their old site, it's going to be "badass". EDIT: gonna be badass.
Thanks Marconi

I imagine that the other unreleased track will see a release either this Friday or next Friday.

I'd be happier with a random demo being released to be honest. Hopefully we'll see some magazine reviews start to appear soon.
