Excellent news, can't wait to hear something new! And a free download or something soon would be nice...

If memory serves me correctly, the limited release of Underdogs was released around mid March 2007, whereas the YLAINE was released in the last week of April and SATT was released 7th May 2007. By that reckoning we should hear SOMETHING next week but I doubt it since news has been very slow to filter through.

I would hope that's the case but I wouldn't be surprised if we don't hear anything until at least the end of August.

I think Sony are playing silly buggers to avoid any sort of leak, hence these private listening parties that journos have been attending. Anyone know if there could be some promo CDs hovering around? (not literally of course)

Which justifies the statement I made at the start of the single official news thread regarding the release date of the album

The reason we haven't heard anything is because they'll be sending out news to us via postcards for this campaign, clearly, and it's taking some time for them to get to us.

I'll moan about moaning.

In the meantime I'll moan that it isn't September yet.

Updated list of known songs recorded for PFAYM sessions:

CONFIRMED ALBUM TRACKS
The Descent Pages 1 & 2
Hazleton Avenue
Golden Platitudes
All We Make Is Entertainment
It's Not Love Just The End Of War
Postcards From A Young Man
A Billion Balconies Facing The Sun

CONFIRMED B-SIDES
I'm Leaving You For Solitude
I Know The Numbers
Lost Voices
Ostopolitik (instrumental)
Broken Up Again
The Passing Show
Evidence Against Myself
Time Ain't Nothing (Green On Red cover)

There's been questions raised over exactly where "Anti-Humanism" came from so, for now, that's not officially confirmed until someone can bother to dig up where that came from. Personally, I'm starting to think they should've released the album at Christmas and given us a double album!

What about that? Nicky said: "There are loads of strings on this record. I think the best strings that have ever been recorded are on "Ocean Rain"."

Is that a song title, too, or is he referring to something else?

I think he was referring to the Echo and the bunnymen song.
