Just heard Nicky's solo album, the title track "I ate the popcorn" and songs like "Pop my corn slowly", "The Shining Butter" and "Stab Yr Corn" are truly brilliant songs. Could easily have fitted on any Manic Popcorn Preachers album.

I don't even like popcorn and I'm craving it now.

The Manics are like those three-variety tins of popcorn you can get around Christmas. James is caramel, Sean is butter, and Nicky is cheese.
