I love it, beautifully melancholic. Mr Gartside's vocals fit perfectly. If they added some seasonal bells and lyrics to it they'd have a great Whamesque Christmas hit.

I've loved every track I've heard on the radio so far, even SPL&M in it's ridiculousness is still massively catchy so they better play it live! Love how Black Square has about 3 different mood changes. This album is like no other Manics album and this is exactly why I love them. To go from Rewind The Film to this...you just don't get that with any other band. They're on fire musically and lyrically.

Black Sqaure has that amazing musical change of Red Rubber. Phenominal.

I've listened to Black Square a few times now and it is amazing.
I don't want to go really overboard but as far as the new tracks go this and Europa rank easily in the best Manics songs ever.
I get the same kind if feeling as when I hear Door to the River - even though they are very different they evoke the same response

THESE THINGS ARE IMPORTANT. The Japanese of all people should know that this is the most important aspect of any release. I'm ordering and demanding a refund without returning for the MASSIVE DISHONOUR. It didn't work with SATT, but to be fair that did come in Mini LP packaging as advertised, I just asked for a refund because of the music on that occasion.
