But makes it difficult to dump stuff at friends house, dress for halloween and get to BSP in time (and suitably tipsy).

I either have the choice of a mad stress filled dash or a chilled out catch up followed by gig and piss up with friend.

True, you could get changed on the train. I'm planning to do BSP in Liverpool too, after Manchester, trusting that the Manics allow it.

They do hate BSP, it all depends on whether the 6-8 includes the gig or just the signing.
