When? I don't recall any issue of this after the original release, unless you mean that Japanese double CD from a few years ago? My mate's got that but I haven't listened to it yet.

I've only just seen that Japan got a 2009 mini LP re-release of GT, apparently the tracks were 'remastered'? CD2 had the B sides and some live tracks.

I'm guessing the release will be the exact same as the one in the UK, but hopefully with a DVD too.

EDIT: Oh and demos too hopefully.

Nice to know it's only a few months away, means we should get details soon. I wonder if it's going to continue along the same line of the TBH/EMG boxes or have a more 'basic' look/lack the DVD/other changes.

not really, a 2002 reissue of it is yours on amazon for £5.59 .

those of you looking for a cheap but exceptional gift for friends, family and strangers can also pick up JFPL for £2.95. and that link fits in with this thread as JFPL is half as long yet twice as good as GT, which is saying something since GT is awesome.

going on things like Achtung Baby and Graceland, the 1 disc reissue is going to be slightly different packaging from the original, but more or less the same as the 2 disc version. i understand, though, that all you collectors will want the 1 disc, 2 disc, 2 disc + DVD, 3 disc, 3 disc + DVD, 2 disc + tape, 1 disc + DVD, 1 disc + VHS + tape, 4 disc, 7 disc, 6 disc + tape, 5 disc + BETA, laserdisc, Blu Ray and of course Shoebox editions of this.

those were first released a few years ago though. I am aware prices go down as times go on . This is a *new* release tho so i was expecting it to be £7-8
