I was after a seat but none available. Not sure if they'll have unallocated seating

Gigs and tours are bastards.. refreshed the page at 9 and the tabs said *off sale* for what seemed like ages

i switched to ticketmaster.. got the ticket after going through 83 windows... captcha bollocks, sign in again even tho i had already signed in.... GRRRRRRRRRRR

Some of the hostels in cardiff can be incredibly noisy on the weekend, same with the travelodge.

Not just noisy; they'll have One Direction fans in them. It will sound like a school bus.

I stayed there once. It was ok, did what it said on the tin, but don't expect a massive amount of sleep!

If anyone wants a decent hotel for not silly money, I can recommend Sleeperz which is right next to the station and a short walk from the castle. Just booked 2 nights with Lastminute for £175 - use code DEC10 for 10% off (and don't forget topcashback 7%)
