That's really sad The first time I spoke to them was at the HMV London signing for Lipstick Traces, I'd travelled down to London on the train on Sunday evening and queued from 10 p.m. until the store opened for a wristband, then the following week I drove to London and back (7 a.m. - 5 a.m. round trip) without sleep for the gig / signing. I was a bit younger then. Someone was kind enough to get me a wristband for the Manchester signing too, so I had a wonderful couple of days ... apart from embarrassing myself with Nicky, scaring a security guard with a lunge in James's direction (I'd dropped my lyric sheets walking away from him, and the guard thought I was heading for James, when I was really heading for some bits of coloured paper.) and accidentally insulting Sean.

Yay for Cardiff! But 3 in one day? I shall be cautiously optimistic until something is confirmed.

I think everyone should print pictures from the Blackstar thread and get them signed.

He wore a hat at both signings. I was trying to put together a coherent sentence at Manchester, but I managed to tell him that I didn't like his Manchester hat. What I meant to say was that I really liked his London hat. I blame Nicky Wire, he got me all flustered.

I don't think I could cope with actually having to talk to them, I'd end up waffling or standing staring like an idiot

Well they do say never meet your heros.

Maybe you'd come off like an idiot or maybe you'd come away just underwhelmed.

Pretty sure if I ever got the chance to speak to any of them I'd just thank them for the countless hours of joy and entertainment they've brought me (While smiling like an idiot ofc)

Best thing about meeting them is Nicky looks at every person like they're the only one there. I opted to just say hello and shake their hands because I knew nothing useful or interesting would come out of my mouth.
