Litany was originally supposed to be an all-star charity single for the benefit of people on November the 5th who couldn't light their bonfires properly?
"Lit Any?" But despite sending out thousands of invitations, not a single celebrity or musician turned up to record with them? So they did it themselves as a b-side. The whole "charity session" was recorded by Elizabeth M for the No Manifesto film and the real reason the film has had the delay, is the band's demands to have the footage removed and destroyed from the final cut of the film? Elizabeth M refuses and quite right too! I've seen a clip of it and Sean starts crying! He took it really badly as that charity single was going to be the one that Sean was going to go on a "Phil Collins-PR" campaign? But if the whole world of showbiz doesn't care enough, it'll be business as usal for Sean from now on. |

The band were actually 'condemned to rock n' roll' by the gods. They had originally wanted to be a techno outfit but were so rubbish they were forced to pick up guitars. They tried to rebel by creating Lifeblood and as punishment SATT was what followed.

'Slash N' Burn' is about a really bad case of cystitis that Nicky once had;
'Born A Girl' is about Nicky's habit of 'making a mangina' when he's drunk; 'Peeled Apples' is about Richey not knowing the difference between apples and potatoes. |

Elvis Impersonator : Blackpool Pier was written as a reaction to Gary Busey's performance in the film The Buddy Holly Story, and references in a so subtle you might have missed it was the fact that Keith Moon died on the night of the film's premiere.

The song 'Zebras' is an exact reworking of the song 'Donkey's' apart from the title. And lyrics. And melody, drum beat and chord progression.

'I'm Just A Patsy' is the story of when James chucked Nicky out of the band and refused to let him back in until he dressed up like Patsy from Ab Fab and ran around Cardiff city centre in high heels at 9pm on a Friday night.

The last non-cover song of SATT was originally a song about the winners of weight-lifting champions tearing up phone directories? The original went "Naa naa naaaa HNNNG! *Tears phone book* Naa naa naaaa HNNG!" but James got cold feet about being outed so it was edited out and turned to Winterlovers.

Send Away The Tigers is about James and Nick complaining when Sean brought his 'pets' to the studio.
