Hi there, just wondering if theres a way to contact the band or anyone remotely important. I was discussing the issue with some people and like so many people have said before "enough's enough" and yeah complaing will most likely not work...but its better than nothing, might as well try.

Sorry for putting a damper on the mood, don't all shoot me down I'm only asking.

That's the spirit. Sell stuff, sleep rough, whatever. Brutal at the time, but worth it for special gigs.

I will find a way. Somehow.
If you don't mind flying up first thing Thursday (8.50) and flying back first thing Friday (7am) flybe has £52 inc taxes return flights from Cardiff, then travelodge is £40 for the night or hostels would be cheaper. Alternatively it may be cheaper to fly from Bristol but you have to get there (I know we used to go via bristol when they used to do Cardiff-Glasgow on a tour but I think that was because they did earlier flights back then).

Thats still £144 for the two though - plus the plus fare from the airport but from memory its next to nothing, though you'd need a taxi in the morning.

Really I should go away I do like budget travel planning though. If you want to try variations of cheap flights though airninja is good (and its called airninja) theres possibly even a megabus but you may lose half a day of your life traveling both ways (might need to try a megabus combination like cardiff - birmingham, birmingham - glasgow) just go with all the possible iterations.

Or even fly one way slum it back as I think outward flight is only £14 all in

Nope, no prank. I just copied the address from the HoN website. I wouldn't get your hopes up too much about stopping the touts, but good on you for trying.

I've moaned at the promoter, the venue and Ticketmaster today. They didn't give a fuck, but at least I felt like I'd got something off my chest.

Thank you. That was actually hugely helpful and stopped the boyfriend worrying quite so much.

I did another check from Bristol to Glasgow and found an easyjet flight for £120 there and back for 2. Leaves at 7am on Thurday gets back on 10:05pm Friday. My amazing bloody dad is checking if he can get some time off work to take us up and bring us back from Bristol. He is obviously very ace.

Now I've got to try and actually get time off work for this adventure.

Oh, and I'd be fully willing to text in the setlist.

Doesn't he just? It's a shame we don't keep in touch that much so it makes me feel like I'm using him when I ask him to do ridiculous things like this.

It's the least I can do for all the people who missed out. Hope it goes some way to making the FDer's gig-less evening a little bit easier to deal with.

Don't get your dad to drive, get a bus, train or plane.
