I would rather hear something heavy and angry. SATT and JFPL were soft. I WANT RAGEEEE

In all honesty James' voice is too shot for that now, which is evident on live performances on songs such as Faster and Jackie Collins.

Musically rage'd be interesting but the lack of spitfire James Bradfield would likely make it somewhat of an impossible task.

I'd like more acoustic songs, the ones on JFPL were really great. I like some of the heavier stuff too though. Oh and strings, there should be strings. (Like violins and shit, not just geetarz)

I would personally love a big angry record with JDB growling all the way through it and the bass lines sexually molesting your ears. Although, I know I'm not going to get that so bring on SATT part 2.

KYE = soft!?

It's more of a "rough" sound in the main surely?

As a violinist, I second the strings

I dunno, I thought the Peeled Apples and Pretension/Repulsion basslines were pretty accomplished in the molesting department. Or if you weren't impressed you have to at least admit they attempted a feisty grope!

Strings all the way!

Hey! I never said they didn't! In fact, I was talking about those exact same sort of bass lines. I would just like an album full of those again, please.

Hiii DoodleBug, I'm a violinist too!

Mmm, Peeled Apples bass line. I was also quite fond of the one in Bag Lady...I'm probably the wrong person to ever ask about bass lines though as to me, Manics bass lines mean Nicky and that means they *all* sound sexy to me.

I second that, but I don't know how would it go through. It would be really great, but I don't think it will ever happen again.
