write and complain, as it is a LTD item, it should become collectable, but not with a red pen mark.

That's not cricket mate! I'm with Dext on this one, you should complain. This is supposed to be a proper limited release, you don't want no red pen on it!! Mine was fine, and arrived pretty quickly too (guess I must've been one of the lucky ones eh?!)

Thumbs down for Rough Trade from my side again. I recived two copies in a envelope, not a box package so they came curved like a soup-plate. Cool?

write to Sony/Manics Management and Rough Trade, sounds like a bit of a balls up at the brewery (literally, that is where rough trade is!)

Mine arrived today, unharmed and not in bad timing really. So there's hope they haven't wrecked/lost all the orders

Got mine in California yesterday. Arrive in a rigid cardboard envelope as mentioned, one corner is dinged but only on the back side. Maybe that has more to do with the way the sleeve itself is made rather than a packing issue. I am glad I did not order other lps at the same time as I originally intended.

Mine arrived about 40 miles away from Rough Trade yesterday! Funny that the trans Atlantic post is so good compared to the domestic stuff, I got something from LA yesterday in about 5 days

Mine's arrived but the label had already been ripped open. If it hadn't been an exclusive at Rough Trade I would definitely have ordered from elsewhere.

Just curious, does that diminish it's potential value? Maybe it depends on how carefully the label was opened. If it was ripped open, that doesn't sound good.

Mine came yesterday. My mum saved it from being slid under the garage door by some idiot postie.

How will writing to Sony help? It's got nowt to do with them if it gets damaged in the post.
