Awww you guys, that's a real shame. I feel particularly for all the people who are travelling from other countries. I think they should do two sets tomorrow, one at 6 for today's spectators and another at 9.

Aww crap I wasn't going, but I'm still sad for everyone else. I hope that means some people going tomorrow can at least save themselves a journey even if they can't get a refund.

Even though they had the rescheduled dates on their website, and was on Brixtons website. Nothing from TW until 20 mins ago. Pretty awful really.

That is piss poor. See were pretty quick with their email, which I received about 20 minutes or so after I first found out the gigs had been postponed.

Indeed, if I hadn't thought to double check forums earlier would have wasted a journey!

Seeing as Tuesday's gig was postponed, common sense told me to keep an eye on the internet, just in case.......

Yup! I only noticed Tuesday's was cancelled through facebook though, wouldn't have had a clue otherwise! For most gigs I'd never check online before going.... should know to do it with manics though, only seen them 5 times but had one cancelled because of illness before!

Just seems a bit weird. If it is nicky, you think an apology would be nice, or at least give people on twitter some info.

Apart from Blackburn the Brixton show tomorrow was one I was considering going to but decided against it as a Saturday would've been a better day. So, if there are any spare tickets for the rescheduled one on the Saturday next year I'll go for it.

I've only ever missed out on one gig through band illness and that was the first time I was going to see BRMC, but that was a Bristol gig and I was alerted to the cancellation by the ticket vendor before I left work for it. Travelling to the gig wouldn't have been bad anyway as Peter Hayes played a solo show at a different venue on the day - a benefit of a band with two members who share singing duties.
