Just caught up with this now. I'm glad I'm not the only one who found it all a bit...awkward. James was in TLORN vocal range territory, which he doesn't seem to find particularly comfortable and he seemed a bit embarrassed afterwards.
And I'm sorry but everything about KT Tunstall irritates the fuck out of me...I'm in a bit of a bitchy mood, but she looks a bit like someone made up to look like a witch in something like Merlin. I think it's the weird teeth. And I don't like her 'I've just smoked 50 fags and knocked back a few whiskeys' husky voice either. Buuuut, as I've already said...nice haircut James

I'll take the alternative stance, while James sounded a bit shaky (probably due to having to remember the chords as well as reading the words) it was a class duet, KT sounded great.

Anyone catch Chris Evans on Celebrity Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Live tonight?! He (presumably intentionally) got a question about the words to Fairy Tale Of New York and couldn't remember the words. From only four options. On the same day that KTT and JDB performed the song live, in front of his face. With the relevant line sung THREE times!

 Will listen to this later. James is always a bag of nerves with this sort of thing. Great pics of them both and I like KT so there!

I hope there is no truth in the saying that as you get older you get to look like your dog as Boxer's must be one of the ugliest dogs about!! Its typical that James would want a 'manly' dog though, it would either be a boxer, staffie, pit bull or Alsation.

It was a Basset Bleu De Gascoigne that he had originally mentioned wanting as a breed but obviously decided against it. Boxers are adorable so I'm pleased with the choice of breed!

I thought that was an excellent version of the song! To my ears James only struggled slightly on the 'You're an old slut and drunk etc etc' bit (yeah, I've probably got the lyrics wrong!
). Certainly didn't hear any out of tune guitar. KT sang brilliantly as well. But if she bumps into James walking his Boxer puppy in the forest I'm sure Mrs B will doff her hat to her!

I don't get all the KT hating, should James have done a duet with Pixie Lott? I like KT, she seemed really pleased to be duetting with James.
