Might just turn up to HMV in Birmingham just before opening time (if its wristbands in the morning). Turned up to HMV in Manchester for a manics signing previously at ridiculous o'clock and there was no need. Similarly didn't have a problem getting wristbands for the signing that Nicky did in HMV Cardiff. If I miss out so be it but I value sleep far too much and pavements aren't very comfy

Do we have actual solid proof and confirmation that all three of these signings are taking place yet?
There's nothing on HMV's website

yea i was thinking the same about Manchester. Even if i miss out i should be able to see them play still. I can't see the store being mobbed. No idea how big it is though. It is a reeeally long way to go just for that tho................................ someone tell me what to do!

I'd check as close as possible to the time just in case of any unforseen scenarios or cancellations! I'm sure they will do their best to fulfil though!

the day before? How dare they favour the locals? i've never known wristbands for instore events to be handed out any other day except the one they're appearing

I know of two people from this forum who've separately asked staff in the Manchester HMV and they seem to think it's happening. James (MSPKYE) dropped in today and they told him about the wristbands and that it's due to start at 5:30pm. So I would say that's enough confirmation to be going on with. I've already requested the day off work anyway.
