There ain't no way JDB is gonna sing the whole thing live. Remembering The Love Of Richard Nixon & it's lower register. They could rearrange it of course.

The wank one. Only now they're hanging around the local bingo hall.

It's a way better video than Autumnsong, or that wank they did for It's Not War. This one actually has a point as a short film, it shows what community life is like in former mining towns, that sense of defeat post 1985. Like it very much.

I agree with this, it's far better than the Autumnsong video. I thank DK for lowering my expectations!

I can see where you're coming from but I like it... Alright, it's not exactly subtle, Rewind The Film, watch an old guy strolling around the scraps of evidence of what used to be a vibrant community. I do find something quite beautiful about that in a way.. In Hull, one of my favourite places to walk is down the river, past all the disused docks and warehouses, knowing how my Granddad used to work there and wondering what it was like 50 years ago. He doesn't have to wonder, he remembers and the bingo hall, full of people who also remember is the closest he's gonna get to that sense of community again. Really sad.
