I tempered my expectations and went for Sleeperz. Queen size room though, so hopefully won't have to mix with the hoi-polloi.

Actually a little worried for somewhere to stay. Was going to book Travelodge in Newport but you have to pay when you book, and I won't be able to afford that until the end of the month.

Also does nobody on here use Airbnb? I've got one for Dublin, about 10 minute walk to the venue, double room, £30.

There is a very cheap Youth Hostel showing on trivago.com - £50 a night or so for the whole room.

The Yanks are coming! Got our tickets... sitting in the parking lot of the 24 hour McDonalds a block away from our house.

Seriously, of all the times for our home internet to decide to go down, it chose 3:30 AM this morning! (8:30 for you fine folks.) I'm glad I thought to open my laptop as soon as I got up instead of assuming everything would be fine and then realizing two minutes before the sale started that we couldn't access anything. There's a 24 hour McDonalds with free wi-fi right around the corner from us, so I threw clothes on, grabbed the laptop, and drove over there to use their wi-fi. Didn't want to gamble that maybe there would still be tickets in four hours when I got into work (because the home internet is STILL down).
