No, but the only successful way to stop touts ruining it for everyone is to not buy from them. It's all very well complaining to the venue, but keep buying from them just makes it worse.

Only refusing to pay touts for tickets will stop the bastards. If there's no money in it, why bother?

oh i completely agree, the only people i have ever bought off are people who genuinely cannot go or people who have won tickets who do not want to go.

funding toutism is not positive, you see plenty of touts a gigs pissed out there brians tempting chinese people to buy/sell tickets etc, vulnerables mainly.

Sad thing is, if I could afford it I would pay it. I've bought tickets off touts before, but usually for face value or less.

I think the only time I'd do it is when you can get them part way through for half the price, making sure they lose money.

Yeah, my mate got to see Bob Dylan for tenner that way.

I haven't done bad myself, really. Got my Llandudno tickets £40 the pair and Man City for £20 off eBay.

True. That's why I've given a spare away in the past rather than let a tout have it for a fiver and make five on top.

I had a great idea that I could disguise myself as Sean by putting on a hat and drawing on some five o'clock shadow, and carrying lots of iPod boxes and gadgets to cover my face then sneaking in. This idea is 100% foolproof and patented though so nobody else can use it.
