Absolutely fucking ridiculous. I've seen so many tickets go on there since they've been on sale.

Urgh.

But will anything be done about it? Will the band even know this shit went on? l'd like to think that they're the sort of people that would take it on board and try and enforce a system should this farce ever have the opportunity to show it's ugly fucking face again.

l paid off ebay, not proud but l did it, l wanted a ticket and wanted to go, missed the 'official' bun fight so took the next best thing.

How much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking? Was just wondering if the prices had come down at all.

£160 for 2, that's £100 over the face value, rather it was in the bands pocket, sad fact of life.......

That's a bugger. I was kind of wondering if the prices would come down, but they do seem to still be selling.

But by buying one you are helping to ensure it goes on....

Until touts are stopped officially from buying tickets and selling them on at a profit it will always go on, you or l making a stand will make diddly squat of a difference, it's the world we live in.

Would be nice to think it did.

You pays your money and you makes your choice.

It's convenient to think that, but if everyone didn't do it, it would make a difference.

When someone can buy them for £20 and someone is willing to pay £200 for them, it's not much of a surprise. If there was no market, and people were only willing to pay £20, they wouldn't do that, stopped or not.

I'm just glad I didn't get up to get tickets - when I saw the venue was a 300 capacity I thought screw it.

I've had this more than once with Ticketmaster, the tickets are for sale at 9am and are sold out at 9am. A few people get them but most people are left peed off as they felt like they had no chance. I'd love to go but paying £100 for a ticket and getting to and staying over in Glasgow at the moment isn't something I can afford.

I'm already seeing him from good seats thank God, but at least those of you who aren't Noel Gallagher fans don't have this sort of price to contend with -

£100-£200 is nothing. This is real pain!

Fuck. How much would those tickets have cost to buy directly? Would front row have been the same price as seats further back? I'm don't know how these TCT gigs work. I didn't even attempt to try for Noel as I'm already going to London at the end of Feb so I'd be cleaned out.
It's ridic though if that tout selling those tickets is making a profit from a charity gig. 20% is like what, 180 quid so they are still making a fair few hundred off it! Seriously, morally bankrupt!

this gig is on my birthday, so other than being 7000 miles away, i would rather spend the evening with some cake, a cup of tea and our James singing happy birthday for me anyway. i would argue a minimum of 33% of the band would be rather happier doing what i am doing instead of some gig, so it probably won't be a great gig anyway.

i know that last bit is complete bullshit, but the thought might bring comfort to those of us who won't be there....

I think the worst part about that is it's a charity event and most of that money isn't going where it should be.
