Worse than that, it's just a random length of the song badly cut and looped.

Mine arrived today! Have two of the book versions (red girl on front), one from Amazon and one from Townsend with the poster - and the normal CD version (blue girl on front). Glad I didn't order Super Deluxe ones as was dreading carting large cube boxes out off work! Gonna check out my local HMV and see if either of the boxed versions are available. Any overseas fans in particular who are struggling to get hold of a copy of NT for whatever reason I'll be selling on my spare copy along with the poster as well (Quote about Faster at the top, GT era band pic at the bottom in green, black and white). Will post further info in the For Sale thread.

Don't quote me on that one actually! I just had a quick glimp at it. Initial thought was it was a GT pic but now you've said that I'm not so sure! My memory is getting terrible these days!

Does anyone here have the iTunes version? Are the track-by-track videos only the ones they put up on those other sites or are there videos for every single?

My poster was green and I'm pretty certain it's a 'James in pink fluffy coat' pic (just not pink on the poster, obvs!). Pretty certain it's a GT one so they must all be random different posters they are sending out.

I think this should make the top 10 easily, probably 7 or 8 and then drop slowly but surely out of the top 100 within abotu 6 weeks Hopefully it'll sell well and hang around longer obviously.

I saw the ad for this on Dave last night. Nice ad, took me ages to remember Colin Murray's name (he who does the voiceover).

It finally arrived :-)
The booklet is quite nice, some good photos of the band. Got the cd single as well, which I'm now listening to. "This is the day" sounds so much better when not being listened to on my phone, and it's a cracking cover version too. Not so keen on "rock and roll genius", bit naff, especially that opening lyric. I like the "burned so many bridges" bit though. As has been posted earlier, disappointed that the single isn't a proper manics single with a quote on it, but for a freebie, can't complain too much. All in all, well worth the £15 I paid for it. |
