He's an expert, yeah it undermines the show a bit, but it's good fun and keeps it from taking itself too seriously.

Plus it gives it cool points and surely raises viewing figures due to people being curious to see it in action.

I think it's great. I don't see anything wrong with having a bit of a sense of humour; he quite clearly loves what he does and knows a lot about it, so why not get some funny stuff in there?

Anyone been following it so far? Not sure whether discussing David Bowie songtitles in this section of the forum is wise, but I watched the one on Wednesday and caught 'Gene Genie'.

He writes a column in the Saturday Sun now and he put at the bottom that he had included about a dozen Smith songs in his comments

I've spent the past 2 days compiling this year's Bowie references. Made a note during the shows/looking online & only have 12 left to find, then edit down for the final montage!
