Majestic Theater, Detroit, MI, US 2nd October 2009

I will be there with my cousin. We grew up in Michigan so this is the "hometown" show.

Will anyone else here be there?

This show will be fantastic. What's the venue like? I've never been to Detroit before. I see it used to be a movie theatre back in the day...

I got my tickets in the mail a few days ago.

This will be a busy weekend for me. MAnics on the 1st and 2nd, then back to Chicago for Brand New on the 3rd, and possibly up to Milwaukee for The Gaslight Anthem on the 4th.

This is my favorite small venue in the area. Not a bad place to stand, sound is awesome. Also it is real easy to meet bands before and after the shows as they park the tour buses in the alley behind the venue.

My sister-in-law's boyfriend did one of The Gaslight Anthem's videos.

Just to get an idea of how many tickets have been sold, check on your Ticketmaster ticket under seat and it should have a number. Mine are 101 & 102. So in essence if you have ticket 400, roughly 400 have been sold.

Usually Ticketmaster starts with ticket # 101 under seat number for GA shows. I have ticket # 104. Though maybe that practice is outdated. Anyone have a number lower than 101?

Hmmmm. I wonder how they are doing it ten. My row is 101.

Just looked at my Doves ticket from Ticketmaster for the Majestic & it was row 111 seat 118. I guess after a certain amount of "seats" sold they increase the row number and reset the seat number.

ummm, guys....?

I think there might only be twenty tickets left as I type this. That's what I gathered from ticketmaster's event page.

This is amazing.
