Suicide Alley/Little Baby Nothing

As mentioned in the BBC 6Music interview, a part of Suicide Alley later transformed into a section of Little Baby Nothing. Any idea which part?

I was dreaming, you always are

I see the coins that were your eyes
My eyes shining like sapphires
I can't think, and I can't paint, I can't love!
And no one will, for money makes us up

Death to monetaries!

I think it might be the 'you are pure, you are snow' etc bit inspired by
'You won't eat away at my mind with your ideas of decency
I'll be in suicide alley being who and what I want to be'

perhaps...

It's quite obvious and if you don't know you're better off not knowing. Once you hear it you can't unhear it!

That being said, the melody of SA's verse and LBN's chorus are identical. (I'm going down to suicide alley = my mind is dead, everybody loves me.)

OMG!

That is both surreal AND brilliant at the same time.
Cos' Suicide Alley is such a rough and almost amateurish song (though I love it), and Little Baby Nothing is the opposite. One of their classiest compositions.

"I'm going down..." melody = "My mind is dead..." verse. Near enough, anyway. Isn't it mentioned in Everything or Sweet Venom? Sure I read it in one of the biographies over a decade ago.

Everything, last paragraph on page 76, off the top of my head. Ok you got me, I looked it up. Great index in that book, took a matter of seconds!
