I discovered Golden Fable recently and really like them - some of their songs sound very Cocteau Twins-esque dream pop, but then today I stumbled across this acoustic cover on Youtube.

Always Golden was one of the best singles to come out last year. Rebecca Palin's voice is so beautiful (and she is painfully adorable). A really excellent band. Definitely worth checking out.

As an aside, Tim McIver told me a legitimately humorous story on twitter a few weeks back about how the Manics were the first concert he ever went to.
