I thought the point of having the print yourself option was so that you can print them straight away

Been to plenty of large shows with no tickets. The eticket option has been there for about 10 years I think.

Think my first interaction was a ticketmaster one for an arena show in the early 00's. Most people probably choose post tickets though I imagine.
