Why can't the band just pretend that Richey left them like hundreds and thousands of fucking excellent lyrics and just steal old Russian poetry that's no longer copyrighted and use it as 'Richey's' lost lyrics?

If this stops Nicky Wire writing any more lyrics then we can all be agreed that we can live happily.

Until JDB is caught on and is forced to wear his balls in a sling in Cardiff Gaol.

Or why doesn't James just sing "Nurnurnurnurrr nurr nurr nurrr nurrrrrrr" instead of lyrics and keep playing guitar solos?
I know old school Manics fans go on about their intelligence but look at the country? Over 18 years of Manics going on about bettering yourself... and what has it achieved? Individually you might have done something yourself, but as a whole?
Oh well, it's midnight here. Sleep on it and see how you feel about my idea in the morning. This isn't something I've just made up? I've been thinking about it for some time...

It's an idea. Or they could just go all My Bloody Valentine and kill all of their songs with lots and lots of unnecessary feedback.

That's the easy way out mate.

My idea was a legitimate one. It probably wasn't as expressed quite as pretentiously as you would have preferred though.
