Ooh, I'm in a choir. If anyone from the band is reading we'll do it. Okay, we're a bit shit but no matter.

I think it essentially ruins its effect being used right from the first chorus of SKON. I have no beef with the use of choir, I just generally think it's overkill and badly arranged.

Didn't James mention that Richey wanted the follow-up to THB sound like a mix of Nine Inch Nails, Pantera and "Screamadelica"? At least they now have borrowed Primal Scream's gospel choir - next step: Higher than the Sun - A dub symphony in two parts!

Yeah. We've worked with Mike Peters out of the Alarm before, so we've got a history of working with Welsh rock artists.

Here's an idea. Go for a walk along Chiswick High Road. Keep an eye out for Michael Sheen. When you spot him, sneak up behind him and shout 'SHEENY!' in his ear. Once you have his attention tell him you're a massive Manics fan that performs in a choir and could he possibly pass that information on to James. Or prehaps you could go for a more local wander around Cardiff and might bump into an actual Manic! I'm sure James would be interested that you have worked with Mike Peters!

Some of us are still waiting for the proper release you know.
I love the fact the choir is local more bands should keep it local and use local musicians.
