GT was a nihilistic, rebellious point in the Manics career, and the sound production matched it.

For a GT special release I'd love the album, the b-sides, 2x180 vinyl, postcards, You Love Us make up compact and stuff like that. I'd love it in a box form, like PFAYM.
I agree! GT needs the sound it has, I don't like remastered records anyway.

I don't care about it being remastered, I just want the anniversary edition with a DVD that includes the documentary, live performances, and a second disc with B sides/demos/live tracks.

As postcardsfromayoungman said in a PFAYM style box too would be nice. Or similar style to the US long box version of the GT album.

That longbox is rare as hell! But longboxes are crap so I'm not too bothered.

But you have to crank the volume right up every time a song from it comes on. The problem with it isn't that it's raw (sadly it isn't raw), it's that it's been tweaked in the studio to the point that it's compressed to buggery. So in essence, it's over-produced, just not in the same way as GATS.
