'Greatest Vocalist' chart...
I've seen this list floating around the last couple of days and instantly wondered where our JDB would sit on it..?! Anyone know his highest and lowest recorded vocal notes? I reckon his highest is either Condemned to Rock'n'Roll, or Another Invented Disease (there is a really high wail pretty quiet in the mix over one of the last choruses that I reckon might be him..) Lowest? No Surface??

There was a thread discussing James' voice.
Anyway, James seems to have a wide range, he mostly sings very high, especially when he was young, but Love of Richard Nixon seems to be the lowest of his vocals that I can think of. If we don't count demo recordings. So, ehm, I dunno where he would be placed on that list also because I don't completely understand it. I dunno these "musical technicalities"... Just the most common (cultural) stuff, such as tenor, bass, barritone, alt, sopran, mezosopran. Stuff like these..... But you know what? Since I'm taking phonetics classes, I'd love to have James as my personal guinea pig for human and speech sound research.

Nicky doesn't have any range, he can't sing.
James's lowest tone I ever heard is not from TLORN, he couldn't reach that low in 2004 as he can now, but from Rewind the Film live, when he hit F#2 which is great for tenor. Highest tone I don't know, he screamed E5 in ME this year, I remember him hitting A5 in falsetto in Wattsville Blues live, anyway, where's the Khizar's thread?

Lowest, not sure but something on RTF would come close I think.
