Better than De Niro in 'Mad Dog and Glory' where he has that awful dyed brown hair with little grey bits left at the temples in a failed attempt to make it look more natural. The sex scene with Uma Thurman is toe curlingly embaressing to watch.

I think its designed to have a big impact at the end and that part works, there's just a bit too much time spent waiting for something to happen - but that does make it compelling to watch! And Anna Friel looks extremely hot!

James' random lyric was quite funny; it looked like Sean had whispered it to him as he'd forgotten it Nicky's face of woe was just comical, in a bad way. Also, is it me or is Martin Hall in the background, when it cuts to the group of people watching Michael and Anna kiss? It's a freakishly good lookalike if it isn't him anyway.

The kiss didn't really match up with the "repressed sexual tension" Nicky mentioned, but we all know Nicky talks a load of crap. That bit went on a bit too long, when they could have made more of the concept of the video.

Not bad, miles better than the Autumnsong videos, but then that wouldn't exactly be difficult. I won't be rushing back to watch it over and over again though, but then I don't with most videos unless they involve Lady Gaga.

So, not brilliant but it's certainly different. I did notice one major thing - the song sounded much better, the vocals were louder and clearer but that's maybe cos the radio rip on the internet wasn't great quality. So at least the song has gone up in my opinion. The video - average. Maybe if the Manics ran in at the end to force them apart or something it'd have been better.

Or thrown a bucket of water over them! That would have been fun!

I really think a lot of the Manics fans on here just cant identify with the major emotions in the video. Get into a relationship with a smoking hot woman who you fall deeply in love with and you will turn into Sheeny in this vid about once a week!

Basically what the vid is saying is that make up sex is so fucking hot.

I really like it - think it's their best in quite some time. It's the whole "Soviet sex" thing w/ a whisper of James Bond... Plus MSPs look FEROCIOUS in those suits!!

I thought it was embarrassingly awful - and I'm not talking about the kiss particularly. The one-take thing just makes it boring and its pace doesn't go with the song at all - I actually thought it was erroneously playing in slow-mo.
