Sounds more like a separate few gigs from the futurology tour....wonder if it will be in the run up to xmas like in 1994?

don't forget it topped the 2005 newsnight viewers favourite album poll...there are more thb fans out there than we might think

They could do a repeat of the PP&F Tour in 2005, play the LP outright or mix it in with the current LP & RTF & a few greatest hits etc

I really hope that the Manics tour THB at some point. I know it wouldn't attract a lot of the fanbase, but it would just be so good for those of us who'd appreciate it. Are there some THB songs that haven't had a live outing since the tour that THB came out on? 4st7lb and She is Suffering, maybe?

"Obviously there are some songs on that record that we have never played live."

When did they play She is Suffering and 4st 7? I've just watched and listened to a lot of live recordings and not read through setlists, so I'm sorry if this is a stupid question.

Some of the songs have been played in one form or another. Yes, Faster & This is Yesterday are not uncommon.

Of Walking Abortion, Archives of Pain and Die in the Summertime have had semi-regular outings.

Stuff like ifwhiteamerica, Revol & PCP have rare showings, the rest never gets played mostly because if you've just played an anthemic rock track The Intense Humming of Evil is a bit of a vibe killer.

I know some music fans who only like THB, and nothing else by the band, so a show would be incredibly popular I detect.

I've seen a few THB songs live, both in person and "seeing" them on YouTube, but there are some that I doubt they've given an outing in a long time.

I'd be surprised if Mausoleum & The Intense Humming of Evil have been played, but the rest have at least had a run through at one time or another.

To answer your other question; 4st 7lbs was played on the Past Present Future tour (only a couple of times though), along with some other choice songs from the Bible.

Those two haven't been played since 1994, I think. But all the others have.

She is suffering has been played quite a bit, it was a single after all. Most recently the National Treasures gig, I think?

4st7lbs was played at least once in 2005.

It's not hard to see why some haven't troubled a setlist for a while; IHOE (see above comment about vibe) Mauseleum would be tricky for JDB to sing even at the time, and 4st 7lbs is also incredibly personal lyrically and bleak musically. The others either have enough aggression to temper the lyrical content, are possible to bounce along to, or are are just in the "classic" bracket so get played anyway.
