It's a crap way to do it, isn't it. I just did the same and now I'm really worried! Billion Balconies sounded kinda promising...

I dunno, maybe (in fact I'm SURE) I had much lower expectations for this album than a lot of you seem to have done, and now having listened I find I'm more interested than I was. Really can't wait to hear The Future Has Been Here Forever in full!

Auto-intoxication, Billion Balconies, and TFHBH4E sound pretty good. The rest - meh.

I hope by the time it comes out i am going through one of my insane manics periods. They come and go. I might not listen to them for six months and then go nuts for them. When Journals came out i didn't rate it that highly at all, as i was not in manics mode. And i now think it's one of the top 3 manics albums. Then again, this album is going to be a bit of a come down from that anyway. Whether i like it or not, there's no way it's going to be as good as Journals. For me anyway.

Not listening to those. Definitely! At least I'll be out of the loop for 6 days, thank goodness!

I'm not really excited by the clips. There's no track that really seems terrible judging by those 30 seconds, but the songs seem to be very hollow and seem to lack depth. We'll see.

Those clips are such a tease. Rather impossible to judge anything from them. None of them got me too excited, but at least I didn't cringe at any either?

I'm most interested in hearing Billion Balconies, Don't Be Evil, and The Future Has Been Here in full now.

A BILLION BALCONIES FROM THE SUN!!!!

is the only track that seems to be a truly great manics song for me so far.
definitely worth a new album if they can deliver at least 1-2 goodies.

Resisting listening to the clips for now... except The Descent, because I LOVE it based on that acoustic version they did. Like, repeat-repeat-repeat love it. I'm not sure if I'll like it as much with the full band, I just want the demo haha.
