You might regret it when you are 72 though!

Happy to be of service! Hope you find these ok. I often find with anything in life it's a case of trial and error.

Not really. You can still hear the gig. I'd rather have my hearing protected than suffer tinitus.

You've summed it up perfectly.

You are so right Karen. I have damaged my hearing big time by going to too many gigs over the years with out hearing protection. Tinitus is very nasty to live with so wished I had been more sensible when I was younger.

That's why I thought I ought to wear ear plugs at gigs. Some of my family have noticed I shout a bit, which prompted me to start wearing ear plugs.

Completely agree with this. I've been wearing earplugs to gigs for a few years now, as I think it was the Leeds gig on the PPF tour that scared me when my ears were still ringing about three days after the gig. I'd definitely recommend earplugs, especially if you go to a lot of gigs or are likely to end up stood near the speakers.

Yep, those are the ones I use and have never had any problems with them.

Believe it or not, they actually make it sound better a lot of the time, as it filters the sound. I've certainly noticed being able to hear the singer more clearly before when wearing earplugs anyway.

I've been at the O2 the past couple of days for the tennis and only saw one lone poster in the entire arena for this gig, which was quite strange. I know it has sold well, but didn't think it was a total sell-out or anything.

So another great view for the earplugs I have just bought

Abstract Unknown Girl as for the gig selling-out Ticketmaster only has 405 tickets left. Probably Gigsandtours and Seetickets also have tickets left.
