I used to like Gay Dad's first album. They were like a newer Menswear (ie crap but I liked them). Late 90s slightly camp, I think their singer used to be a music journo. I wish I hadn't drank so much at uni and then I would be able to remember things like this.

Oh my god how come footage this good exista but it's never been released? I have never seen this before at all, thanks for it. I wonder if there is more kicking around? I wish they would release a bumper DVD with live stuff from over the years, maybe a few full gigs.

Strange seeing an interview with James from so early on, he seems so softly spoken. I guess Richey and Nicky mainly did all the talking then.

And the clip of From Despair is great, great quality considering its age.
