Considering it's a tour promoting the new album, I'd like to see a few more than 3 songs from it!

Agree. Obviously a band with a back catalogue as big as theirs has to pay hits and fan favourites but they will be itching to play new songs and not just a set that you could hear at a festival.

Argh, I can't wait for the tour. Setlists are always gonna be a bitch when you've got more singles than setlist spaces.

BrianPowell, like your list. Looks like it could pass for a generous festival setlist or something. But yeah, on this tour I'll be surprised if we don't get 5 new songs a night.

I reckon they'll include a fair amount of new songs per setlist, at least 6. As there are going to be all those b-sides I reckon at least one will pop up in the setlist (see also Prologue to History years ago)

I'm surprised they didn't pull out a few SATT b-sides in 2007. They were clearly enthusiastic about the new material, and the whole album (bar WCH) got played across a few months. Shame, cos some of them were great, and I'm sure songs like Boxes & Lists and Welcome To The Dead Zone would've gone down well. I hope they throw something in on this tour.

As much a i'd love that, i think it'll be unlikely! We're more inclined to get (if anything) 'Strip It Down' or 'Sorrow 16' again maybe… my money is just on a pure album/singles setlist unfortunately.

I await to be proved wrong though!

Optimistic, I have to say. I reckon they'll keep the 'Town Called Malice' intro to Motown Junk for this tour. I hope that 'Postcards From A Young Man' stays on the setlist as it was definitely the strongest of all the new songs last night.

Oh yeah, They did say they was rehersing: Empty Souls, Sleepflower and they could be playing Black dog. TBH I'd be even more happier wth Brain Powells Setlist. I chose Blitzerin Bop Cover because I want want to hear them do a cover of it.
