$60 is the best value ticket around these parts... you can fly to Adelaide and Sydney for not much these days, especially midweek...

Quick trip down memory lane... dug out some photos I took from the last tour, the lads signing at gaslight Records (RIP) in Melbourne's Bourke St.

What's wrong with a bit of nostalgia...

Sean even smiled once...

We've had a decade to save up for it

I'd be keen for a meet-up! I'm going to be on my own aswell.

Two more here for the Melbourne gig and I can't wait!! I honestly didn't think it would happen.

Does anyone know how ticket sales are going? I am dragging my partner along who, after 6 years, has admitted he 'kind of' likes them. No one else I know has even heard of them. I haven't seen any advertising either, save for a small mention on RRR.

Very little - there are some half pager ads in street press like Beat and In Press, and there was a small thing in there 2 weeks ago, but no bill posters up at the Forum yet.

I havent seen MSP live for 5 years, missed them when I was in Hungary by a few weeks, and Id already booked November off as a 4 week holiday so I cant even see them live in Australia, as Im on holiday all of the dates they play here, hard to believe.

Seems odd they are even playing in Australia though, it was Nicky who said back in 1996 "Australia is just like the furthest place to go. Ive still never been there and Ive no ambition to ever go there."

Shame on the short notice, some people have jobs and holidays to plan their life around.

Hey guys just got my ticket for the sydney show... appears not to have a seat number so I presume it is standing which is good!
Maybe could meet up with people here or something if anyone is interested!
Also gooo Julia Gillard thank god for that... saved from Abbott. The Welsh finally have their PM just in the wrong country!

There's no seating at the Metro, I take it you haven't been to a show there before? Good sound, good visibility from anywhere in the room. Glad they're playing there, one of my faves.

Gillard? The lesser of two evils, sure, but evil is still evil no matter how you look at it!

I don't think I have been there before however I like the sound of it!
Gillard requiring the support of the independants and the Greens could result in more of a progressive government. I suppose i'm still a true believer

One can only hope! I'm too cynical of the process to have faith, but I have my fingers crossed.

Yeah, the Metro is class. The only venue in Sydney that is better is The Manning Bar at Sydney Uni.

Posted in the ticket thread as well, I have a spare ticket for Melbourne and Sydney shows - realise there are still some tickets available but if you're thinking of buying one, help me out first and take one off my hands :-)

drop us a PM if keen.

Will they be playing songs from JFPL do you think?
I think I recall them saying they would only play them for the one tour when the album came out. Is this still the case?
