Interesting that this version of Revol was made, makes a curious addition to that era. I think it works best with the extended feedback break he does live these days.

I got paid today, so i sent them a stinking email yesterday, and they emailed me back, providing me with a private link to re-order the two signed boxsets, so i ordered them this morning.

Pretty happy. Hoping they get dispatched later today or tomorrow.
Yeah, and my credit card got cloned and they cancelled my fucking order.... wankers.

It's not really that exciting if it's the only new thing in the boxset.

I suspect the Astoria recording, vinyl, and booklet will be the best bits. I was actually toying with the idea of cancelling my order because I'm skint, but they've taken the money now so at least I'll get the above.

That's what it's from! I thought it sounded familiar, couldn't place it.

Never mind previously, it should have stayed unreleased.

That particular CD is now completely dead to me. Hell, I almost hope it cracks due to poor packaging.

Good luck with that. It's gonna be more a case of everyone keeping the vinyl and chucking out the CDs.

Just heard the other version of Revol. To my ears it sounds like exactly the same recording as the album version but with some awkward talking over the solo. I guess they just cut that out for the album rather than rerecord.

Definitely not worth bothering with except to listen to once.
