Got mine yesterday at 9.00 am I managed to get a deluxe room at the Angel in castle street a few days earlier with free cancelation for £133. When I then tried to book for my mate it had gone up to £188. He didn't want to pay that so had a search on booking.com and got him the Campinille for£44 for a twin. It's a bit further out but still in the city.

I stayed there last summer and thought it was pretty decent. My best friend and I stayed in the 6 person all female dorm and apart from a few people coming in to the dorm quite late, it was fairly quiet and we wouldn't have had an issue at all in a private room. We weren't there over the weekend though, it was a Monday and Tuesday.

I'm pretty sure Nomad hostel is where I stayed for the Manics gig in March, seemed like a decent place, got a good sleep and free breakfast and coffee.

If you're looking to go over to Newport for Hotels, the Travelodge is creeping up in price and probably close to fully booked, but there's also the Night Lodge on Stow Hill, which I believe is £35 for that night on Booking.com.

I've elected to just get a train over to Newport and a Taxi home from there, which works just the same for me, and I get to sleep in my own bed.

If a group of you going it might be cheaper to hire cottage/flat for the weekend.

It would be good that for the Cardiff gig, they do a poll online and ask fans to pick their favourite songs (anything: album tracks, B-Sides, demos) - that way after an amazing first half, it would also be an amazing second half - rather than hearing the usual Motorcycle Emptiness, You Love Us etc.

I think it's a good idea in theory but possibly not in practice, as suggested above.

Could also so easily be rigged by little scamps forcing James to sing 'Born A Girl'...

THIS. Plus if they really consider playing other countries with THB tour...I'd rather have that happen than a pick-a-setlist tour

Thank you and you bet he's heartbroken. As much as I love Moz, I found the Manics first and that will probably always haunt him too. And THIS.
Who's Johnny Marr??

End of off-topic and apologies.
