Great song and great riff, but when they list the players name I can't help be reminded of Archive of Pain. I don't think that was the desired effect. It's going to be better than any England song.

Where is Way-Als? I can't find it in my atlas!
Heaven help us us if JDB had to shoe horn Kyrgyzstan into a melody. Quite jolly.

![]() I have zero interest in football (including England), but it's quite catchy and obviously meant as a novelty song. Parts of it remind me of It's Not War for some reason. |

Tacky, Overblown, Cheesy, = A football song then. Nice lyrics and music. Like how they shoehorned "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" into it to give it that additional Welsh Sport feel.

It's a bit of fun isn't it. Very much a novelty song but can hum the chorus after one listen so that's job done in my eyes. Documentary on Radio Wales should be good on Friday evening

Must say it fell flat for me. But most football tunes do. It's rare one comes of as a song in it's own right. This falls a little bit to far into the trap of singing names and not much else.
Oh well. Let them have their fun. It's still a remarkable thing to be involved in. Good luck to them. I can't wait to watch them in the tournament itself.

Oh, I sweat, because it is so embarassing. Even worse than Winterlovers. And it is also sad to hear again that James's voice is really gone.
