How does the concept of "sales" actually work?

Is it the number of units actually bought and paid for by the cash strapped customer or, as I imagine it, is it the number of units ordered in by shops.

Or is it really just all made up by record companies?

If you can spare £4.99...it's for a worthy cause if it knocks Sheeran off the top

I've seen it once, late night on Dave. Nice to see they're getting it out there!
I think it was Nicky who said they were getting an actress from The Bridge or something to do the voiceover, and they managed to do so.

Yes!

It's 'Mastered for iTunes'. Is that a good thing, a bad thing or nothing? We'd have to ask the Steve Hoffman forum.

i read "mastered for iTunes" as "stops after every song to update the iOS"

It was on Sky Sports News last night during a break in programming.

Spooked me out a bit as I had been listening to the album for a couple of hours, switched it off then all of a sudden, WMTTB came on the telly.....

And it really is "fill", at least that's what it says in the booklet. Makes perfect sense to me.
Yeah I kind of giggle every time at that too XD

THIS ALBUM IS AMAZING

I am so so impressed by this, there's a reason I've not given up on the Manics even as I've given up on other bands I've liked when they got complacent in old age. This swaggering 80s monument pleases me,

A rock band getting a Number 2 album these days is increasingly rare, a mature rock band like the Manics getting one is virtually unheard of.

Its still too early to confirm its final position but still, well done lads.
