Very odd qoute to use and then give away a free mp3. Is anyone else getting the feeling Wire will spout off against technology a lot in interviews now?.

Isn't that how it's often been though? Like in 1999, when headlining three of the major festivals, they produced a t-shirt with TOO MANY FESTIVALS on it.

I love how the picture is of a 'smashed' bass that looks as if it's been neatly broken in two by a roadie.

That's such a perfect metaphor for the band these days.

It's just a bit tiresome to use a qoute like this. I was kinda hoping that we'd get something different but so far, based solely on this first step of the re-design, it comes across very "Postcards".

It's a shot of the bass that Nicky tried to smash at the end of the O2 show.
No roadies no photoshop.

Yeah, I know... But it does look a bit staged. Don't get me wrong, I like it, I just also think it's funny.

A bit of scene-setting for the Rewind the whatnot acoustic volume one new album?

"We hate technology - look here's a broken bass which just happens to be not acoustic - here comes a load of no-tech tunes"? Just a thought.
