Descent wasn't bad at all, first time I've heard it - probably sounds well different to the album version though.

You know when they do an acoustic song and don't even bother doing the solo and final chorus like they just did with The Descent? That says it all about how lazy and predictable the final third of their songs have become when they can't be bothered to perform them in full. Write proper final choruses and middle eights, James, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!

I think you'll find they cut them down due to time constraints and also the fact that when you reduce electric songs to acoustic, they tend to get repetitive after two choruses.
